Lesson 1: Introduction; Part I, Chapter I of the text, and excerpts from the DVD Monumental regarding the Matrix of Liberty statue.
Lesson 2: Nation Building; Part I, Chapter II of the text, including the struggle to build a nation, a review of the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation.
Lesson 3: Creating a Constitution; Part I, Chapter III, and pages 210-212 of the Appendix, a review of the timeline of events leading up to the Constitutional Convention and backgrounds of the framers of the Constitution.
Lesson 4: Inspiration and Influences; Part I, Chapter IV of the text, seeing God’s hand at work and a review of state constitution preambles.
Lesson 5: The Constitution (1); Part II, Chapters V and VI (Article I) of the text, introduction and preamble, and discussion of the Legislative Branch.
Lesson 6: The Constitution (2); Part II, Chapter VI (Articles II and III) of the text, covering The Executive Branch and the Judicial Branch.
Lesson 7: The Constitution (3); Part II, Chapter VI (Articles IV, V, VI, and VII), of the text, covering The States, Adding amendments, Debts, Supremacy & Oaths, and Ratification.
Lesson 8: The Constitution (4): Part II, Chapter VII of the text, a review of the Bill of Rights and other amendments.
Lesson 9: The Constitution Today: Part III, Chapters VIII and IX of the text, addressing interpretations and positions, and landmark cases that have impacted the Constitution.
Lesson 10: America’s Heritage and Hope: Part IV, Chapters X, XI, and XII, of the text, covering the American Flag and Pledge of Allegiance, Monuments and Symbols of Faith, Colonial Life and Customs, and the Appendix.
