As the COACH McKinney Lunch Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the lunch program and ensuring smooth operations of meal planning, set-up, and clean-up. Your role is crucial in providing nutritious and enjoyable meals for our students, staff, and volunteers.
Responsibilities:
- Vendor Coordination: Work closely with vendors to plan and coordinate lunch meals for COACH McKinney. This includes selecting vendors, negotiating pricing and menu options, and ensuring timely delivery of meals.
- Meal Planning: Collaborate with the COACH Directors and other stakeholders to create a diverse and well-balanced lunch menu. Consider dietary restrictions, preferences, and nutritional guidelines to provide healthy meal options for our community.
- Lunch Set-Up and Clean-Up Oversight: Coordinate and oversee the Lunch Set-up and Clean-Up Crew volunteers to ensure efficient and organized meal service. Provide guidance and support to volunteers during set-up and clean-up activities.
- Online Lunch Ordering: Manage the online lunch ordering system, ensuring accurate and timely processing of lunch orders from students, staff, and volunteers. Address any inquiries or issues related to lunch orders promptly.
- Event Planning: Collaborate with the COACH Directors to plan food options for COACH McKinney events. Coordinate with vendors or catering services to provide meals or refreshments that align with the event requirements.
- Budget Management: Assist in managing the lunch program budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient use of resources. Monitor expenses related to vendor contracts, meal supplies, and event planning, and provide periodic reports to the COACH Directors.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
