This will meet the 1/2 credit requirement for high school students. In this twelve-week course, high school students learn memory and delivery techniques as they write and present five speeches: self-introductory, narrative, expository, persuasive, and impromptu. Students evaluate recorded speeches in preparation for self-evaluation. We will have a safe place to practice! Please plan on 1 to 1 1/2 hours of homework per week. We will include videos during class to guide learning.
