2nd-5th GRADE READING: American Girl Historical Fiction (Fall) (1/2 Credit) – 1 Semester Course, 12 Weeks
American Girl History and Arts class will be a class to remember for years to come in your child’s homeschool journey. This fun class begins with the reading of 6 chapter books of one historical character.
An American Girl Historical Character book covers the full initial story of each character over a span of approximately two years of her life. These books are full of historical references and even a looking back section at the end of each book giving more insight. Each book has the main character girl and always includes a friend. This class will be a place where great friendships are made as we seek to cultivate a place to learn about one another in a Godly way and have a sense of love and unity.
Each class time we will discuss the story and history portions of the assigned reading. Then we will dig deeper with additional picture books, activities, crafts, games, and more!
