Adventures in Odyssey Book Club (3rd-5th Grade)

Adventures in Odyssey Book Club (3rd-5th Grade)  (1/2 Credit) – 1 Semester Course, 12 Weeks

In this class we will read 5 books from the Adventures in Odyssey book series. With each book the student will have the opportunity to grow in their writing skills. They will create book reports, illustrations, do creative writing (e.g. making up a new ending for the story) and so much more. The students will also have an opportunity to share with the class and learn the basics of speaking in front of peers and listening to their peers. Each book also offers a unique opportunity to study history (Biblical and otherwise) that is brought into the story line. This class is sure to be one where they will learn and have fun!

Homework:  Students will be given reading and writing assignments out of class. 3-4 hours each week outside of class depending on how much they do with each opportunity.

Each student will need to supply the following:

• Books 1-7 of The Imagination Station Adventures in Odyssey series.  Available on Amazon.com here 
• Paper and pen/pencil

Cost covers the full semester
($50/per semester)
