COACH Rockwall Sub & Other Tasks (Parent Service Hour)

As a COACH Rockwall Substitute you will be be placed in classes where the teacher or additional adults are absent.  Often these are planned prior to Friday co-op days and you will have advance notice.  Occassionally day-of unexpected events happen to where a teacher or helper cannot attend and the sub will be notified the last minute.  Most times the helpers and additional adults take on the teacher duties and the sub becomes the helper or additional adult.   Your dedication to ensuring a smooth class and coordinating with various adults will help foster effective class continuity and co-op success within COACH Rockwall.

Responsibilities:

1. Substitute: Class teachers and helping adults is the first priortity so you will fulfill these gaps as needed (advance notice and last minute).
2. Other Tasks: Many hands make light work and the needs can change each week.  Some duties could be hall monitor, lunch prep helper, admin work, security, front desk point of contact, cleanup, classroom setup/change over, photographing classroom activity and posting on the COACH Rockwall private Facebook group, etc.
3.  to willingly seek ways you can assist during this hour-

• Communicating with COACH Directors, teachers, and coordinators, and others
• Solution seeker to any problem or inefficiency that arise
