American Girl Historical Fiction (2nd-6th Grade) (1/2 Credit) – 1 Semester Course, 12 Weeks
This course will study pioneer & frontier life through the eyes of two American Girls: Josefina & Kirsten! We will use the Little School of Smiths’ American Girl curriculum as the spine for this class. Activities will include crafts, food, games, map work, and more! There will be opportunities for students to bring in snacks relating to the geography/history being studied. This is a new American Girl class for Spring semester, with new content so families may participate again or join in new!
Homework:
Students will be asked to read (or read with a parent) the selected books from the Josefina & Kirsten book series outside of class. We will read one book every two weeks.
Materials Needed for this Course:
- Books: You will need to purchase, get from library, or get audiobook of the character girl (this will be six books in total)
