ELECTIVE – NO HOMEWORK
A drawing and handwriting course for kids! This course will focus on beginning drawing skills and handwriting practice. We will explore topics such as farm animals, pets, and storybook characters. The class format will include a read aloud, followed by a step-by-step drawing led by the teacher and a short handwriting practice. There will be time for drawing the background, coloring their picture and (time-permitting) watching a short fact video on that week’s topic.
Students should bring a pencil to class (grip helpers if they need them) as well as crayons or colored pencils. Teacher will provide notebooks for each class meeting.
