I use to listen to this song over and over. We
desperately want the fairy tale, but is this reality?
YES!! YOU have THE Knight in Shining Armor who loves you, fights for you, defends you, saved you, and is coming to take you to the home He has prepared for you. All you have to do is accept his proposal and say, “YES!” Then, begins the beautiful engagement journey of preparing for your groom.
“Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” Revelation 19:7.
How do we do this? It only goes to say that a prepared groom is looking for a prepared bride and this head-to-toe picture is not yet the white dress and long veil. Preparation clothes are much different. These are clothes prepared for battle. The more you wear them, the more you’ll recognize others wearing them. These clothes will soon “catch your eye” and stand out in a crowd. Your blinders will be removed and for the first time you will truly know what a knight in shining armor looks like.
My prayer for you as you study this course is “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward those who believe.”
