COACH McKinney Activities Coordinators (Parent Service Hour)

The COACH Activities Coordinator volunteer position at COACH McKinney provides an exciting opportunity to engage with elementary, middle school, or high school students and enhance their extracurricular experiences. As a volunteer in this role, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating a variety of activities and events tailored specifically for elementary, middle school, or high school students.

As an Activities Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to organize and oversee a range of activities that cater to the unique interests and needs of elementary, middle school, or high school students. This may include planning social events, clubs, workshops, and other recreational activities that promote personal growth, creativity, and community involvement. By collaborating with students, teachers, and fellow volunteers, you will foster a dynamic and inclusive COACH Community.

Your tasks will involve scheduling and coordinating activities, securing necessary resources and facilities, and maintaining effective communication with students, parents, and staff members. Your ability to generate creative and innovative ideas will contribute to the development of a diverse and engaging activities program that aligns with COACH McKinney’s goals and values.

In addition, you will work closely with other volunteers, teachers, and administrators to ensure the successful execution of activities. This will include organizing volunteer teams, assigning roles and responsibilities, and providing guidance and support throughout the planning and implementation stages.

As an Activities Coordinator, you will serve as a mentor and positive role model for elementary, middle school, or high school students, encouraging their active participation and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. You will work closely with our IT + Data – Online Calendar Team to ensure that all scheduled events are accurately reflected on our online calendar. This collaboration will involve providing event details, dates, and times to the team for seamless integration into the calendar system.

Additionally, you will collaborate with our FB Events Team to maximize the visibility and outreach of our activities. By working together, you will provide relevant information about upcoming events and assist in creating engaging and informative event posts on our Facebook page.

These collaborations will help ensure that our activities gain optimal exposure, allowing students, parents, and the wider community to stay informed and actively participate in the exciting opportunities we offer.
