Resin Art 9th-12th (Spring)

ELECTIVE: NO HOMEWORK

This will be a fun & creative introduction to resin art class focusing on small projects with a new project almost every week. Choose from license plate frames for cars, keychains, dice, dominoes, coasters, jewelry, mobile phone stands, pens, wall art & MUCH more! This class is for mature 9-12th grade students who can take direction well as we will be working with chemicals, measurement & techniques need to be very precise & we will need to wear some PPE during classes when handling resin. Class fees will cover the molds to use while in class, resin, pigments, ink, glitter, foils, mixing equipment & things of that nature. 

You are welcome to purchase your own things for SMALL custom projects to be done in class or to add to what we are already doing. As an example, you choose to make a tray & want it to light up, so you bring an LED light kit or you want to make a wall art piece, but don’t like the available molds, you can bring your own mold & make it in class. Just remember to keep them smaller as I will have to transport them home to cure each week.

They will also need a small container to transport their kit & gloves in each week as well as ziplock bags to put their used tools in to prevent the uncured resin from making a mess. Once the resin has cured, it should peel or chip off easily.
