CORE
Engineering (1 Credit) – 2 Semester Course, 24 Weeks
This high school Engineering course introduces students to the fundamental principles of engineering design, problem-solving, and applied science. Through hands-on projects and collaborative challenges, students will explore topics such as the engineering design process, basic mechanics, structures, simple machines, and introductory concepts in electrical and mechanical systems. Emphasis is placed on creativity, critical thinking, and real-world application as students design, build, test, and refine their own solutions to practical problems.
No prior engineering experience is required, though a willingness to experiment, iterate, and work collaboratively is essential.
Any student who is not completing course work will be moved to Study Hall.
