CHEMISTRY Lab (1 Credit) – 2 Semester Course, 24 Weeks
This high school Chemistry Lab course provides hands-on experiments designed to reinforce core concepts such as observation and hypothesizing, compounds and mixtures, gas laws, the kinetic theory, nuclear reactions, chemical reactions, solutions, hydrocarbons, and more! Students will develop essential laboratory skills such as data collection, analysis, safety procedures, and scientific reporting.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Students must be concurrently enrolled in a high school-level Chemistry lecture course, which may be completed through COACH Remote learning program or a home-based curriculum. The lab is intended to supplement and align with the lecture material, and students are responsible for staying current with both components. Any student who is not completing course work will be moved to Study Hall.
