History through the Decades (8th-12th) (Fall)

ELECTIVE

We will study the history of tv and its effect on culture. We will talk about macro history vs micro history.

We will use tv show clips and a few movie clips also that were made in the time they are set in to see how things have changed over the last 100 years.

We will learn about historic events, dress, manners, technology, family life, genres, food, slang, culture and music and so much more as we go through each decade week by week.

If a picture is worth 1000 words video is even more so!
