SCIENCE: EXPLORING CREATION WITH ZOOLOGY 1 (1 Credit) – 2 Semester Course, 24 Weeks. Pay per semester.

Exploring Creation with Zoology 1: Flying Creatures of the Fifth Day, 2nd Edition is part of Apologia’s award-winning Young Explorer Series designed for elementary students. Throughout this homeschool science curriculum, students will learn about the amazing design and characteristics of flying creatures as part of God’s creation. They’ll also be empowered to apply their newfound knowledge as they observe the wonder of flight in their own backyards!

Text and note booking will be completed in class. Occasionally, there will be light homework assigned. This class could count as a full Science credit if taken in Fall and Spring.

Students will need the textbook and notebook journal. After registration, I will be in contact with parents to decide if the class prefers the JR notebook or the regular notebook.

$50 cost covers one semester.
(2 semesters = $100 per year)

Hands-on Activities

Some of the course activities your student will complete include designing and experimenting with gliders, crafting a field notebook, building a suet feeder and seed feeder, testing which colors attract birds, building a birdbath, constructing a birdhouse, and much more.
