Welcome to C.O.A.C.H. Local!

We Are Service-Focused

Christ Centered Environment

We are committed to fostering a vibrant, Christ-centered community marked by academic excellence and meaningful cultural engagement—preparing students to thrive and lead in an ever-changing world.

The culture of C.O.A.C.H. reflects the strength and health of our community. We seek to model Christ in the way we serve, speak, and conduct ourselves—both on campus and in our interactions with one another, whether face-to-face or online.

Run by Volunteers

C.O.A.C.H. is sustained by the faithful commitment of volunteers. Nearly every person you encounter—including our leadership team—is a parent who has generously given their time, energy, and talents to strengthen and enrich our community.

By becoming part of C.O.A.C.H., you embrace the opportunity to serve alongside others, contributing your gifts and efforts to help advance our shared mission and goals.

Parent’s Participation Required

C.O.A.C.H. is not structured like a traditional daycare or public school where students are simply dropped off. Our cooperative model is built on active family participation and shared responsibility.

Every family plays a meaningful role in the life of the co-op—whether through teaching, classroom assistance, substitute support, administrative service, or other volunteer opportunities. Together, we create a thriving, engaged learning community.

Failure to submit the ITR may result in the offer of placement being extended to waitlisted families.
  2. Membership Review: At the conclusion of each academic year, C.O.A.C.H. will evaluate factors such as the family’s contributions, commitment to the organization’s guidelines, and overall fit with the program. Based on this evaluation, C.O.A.C.H. reserves the right not to renew a family’s membership.
  3. Cooperation and Understanding: Families are expected to cooperate with the policies and ethos of C.O.A.C.H.. This cooperation is essential for maintaining the high quality of educational experience offered to all students.

COACH McKinney

At COACH McKinney, community is at the heart of everything we do. Meeting each Thursday for a full school day, we serve families with students of all ages in a structured, Christ-centered cooperative environment. Families join when they have at least one Kindergartener, and younger siblings are welcomed through our complete preschool program, along with dedicated infant and toddler care.

Throughout the year, our calendar is filled with meaningful traditions and memorable experiences. We host two signature festivals—Fallfest and Springfest—along with an annual Talent Show that highlights the creativity and gifts of our students. Field trips and age-specific activities provide enrichment beyond the classroom, while our seniors are celebrated with special events throughout the year, culminating in a formal graduation ceremony.

Students have opportunities to lead and create through Student Council and Yearbook, helping shape the culture and preserving the memories of each school year.

Our on-campus classes offer something for everyone. Students can participate in athletics such as basketball, pickleball, tennis, flag football, volleyball, and PE. Elective courses include Debate, Sewing, Robotics, Programming, and a full range of core academic subjects designed to support excellence in learning.

COACH McKinney also prioritizes connection and communication. Families stay informed through our private COACH McKinney app, weekly E-Newsletter, and group messaging via WhatsApp. We also maintain multiple private Facebook groups that allow members to connect, share resources, and stay engaged throughout the week.

As a cooperative community, every family plays a role. Our COACH Teams provide opportunities to serve in meaningful ways across the organization—including Activities & Events Planning, Data & IT, Membership, Facilities, and many other support areas. These teams help ensure that every aspect of COACH McKinney runs smoothly and continues to grow with excellence.

Beyond the classroom, we serve as a strong support system—especially for moms. Through monthly Moms Day Out (MDO) gatherings, mothers connect over a meal, encouragement, and fellowship, strengthening the relationships that make our co-op thrive.

More than a once-a-week program, COACH McKinney functions as a full school-day experience built on partnership, service, and shared commitment—where students grow academically, socially, and spiritually within a vibrant, engaged community.
