Happy Hymnsters (adapted from the actual name, Happy Hymnody) will introduce children to theologically sound and rich hymns of out Christian faith. Though not a choir or musical education class, we will learn at least six different hymns and explore the history of the song, learn about the songwriter, and study the biblical context of each hymn.
Homework: Approximately 15-30 minutes a week should be expected as the student listens to the hymn and practices their memory verse(s).
Supplies needed: Pencils, pencil sharpener; colored pencils; ruler, glue stick, scissors
