Pre-Algebra (Part 1)(6th-8th)(Fall)

This 8th Grade Pre-Algebra course, built around the Thinkwell curriculum, prepares students for success in Algebra I by strengthening foundational math skills and introducing key algebraic concepts. Students will explore topics such as operations with integers, fractions, and decimals; ratios, proportions and percents; variables and expressions; one step, two step and multi-step equations and inequalities; simple and compound interest; probability and polynomials; and basic geometry. Through engaging instruction, guided practice, and problem-solving activities, learners develop critical thinking skills and mathematical confidence. The course emphasizes conceptual understanding alongside procedural fluency, helping students build a strong bridge from arithmetic to algebra.
