ELECTIVE – NO HOMEWORK
A drawing and handwriting course for kids! This course will focus on beginning drawing skills and handwriting practice. We will explore forest animals. The class format will include a read aloud, followed by a step-by-step drawing led by the teacher and a short handwriting practice. There will be time for drawing the background, coloring their picture and (time-permitting) watching a short fact video on that week’s topic.
Students should bring a pencil to class (grip helpers if they need them) as well as crayons or colored pencils. Teacher will provide notebooks for each class meeting.
Materials Needed: If students have taken the class before they can bring and use their notebook.
